1. Overview

Nirman Creations operates an escrow-based payment system to protect both clients and vendors. This Refund Policy outlines when and how refunds are processed on the Platform.

Key Principle: Funds held in escrow are only released to the vendor upon milestone approval by the client. Unapproved milestone payments are eligible for refund.

3. How to Request a Refund

  1. From Your Dashboard: Navigate to the project → select the milestone → click "Request Refund" and provide a reason
  2. Via Dispute: If the vendor contests, the request automatically escalates to a dispute
  3. Via Email: Contact support@nirmancreations.com with your project ID and milestone details

4. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method
  • Credit/debit card refunds: 5-7 business days
  • UPI/Net Banking refunds: 3-5 business days
  • Wallet credit refunds: Instant (credited to Platform wallet)
  • Refund amount will be shown in the transaction history of your dashboard

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Platform fees on completed and approved milestones
  • Services already rendered and approved by the client
  • Consultation fees where the consultation has already occurred
  • Subscription fees (if applicable) after the billing period has begun

6. Vendor Refund Obligations

Vendors whose clients receive refunds due to non-delivery or quality issues may face:

  • Deduction from pending payouts or wallet balance
  • Rating impact visible on their public profile
  • Temporary suspension for repeated refund-triggering incidents
  • Permanent ban for fraudulent behavior
